Mat classes are designed to strengthen and tone the body’s core muscles using Pilates fundamentals, barre method techniques, and foot-to-core sequencing.
These classes combine strength and flexibility training, while also focusing on flow of movement. Students will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core. The instructor may use props like bands, weights, ball, or the “magic” circle.
Appropriate for all levels. Classes limited to ten clients.
